“I’ve recently started to feel the symptoms of menopause and hormonal changes : insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, nervousness…. I don’t know how to manage this phase”

“I exercise regularly, but I tend to injure myself a lot lately, so I don’t know if my lifestyle corresponds to my needs”

What changes as we age ?

Men and women are different in many ways, especially around the age of 45-50, when hormonal changes are most noticeable. For women, this phenomenon is known as menopause. For men, it’s known as andropause. Both are accompanied by their own set of symptoms and physiological changes that often disrupt daily life. What’s more, these symptoms are highly personal, vary greatly from one person to the next, and are difficult to predict.

You are a WOMAN

In the case of women, from around the age of 38 onwards, certain hormones drop and affect our health. Here are some classic symptoms of pre- and peri-menopause :

  • hot flashes
  • fatigue
  • insomnia
  • weight gain
  • mood swings…
You are a MAN

Men are a little less affected by hormonal changes, but around the age of 50, the body can begin to show signs of alteration :

  • more frequent muscle and joint injuries
  • excess weight
  • biological markers outside the norm : blood sugar, cholesterol, liver markers…
Why start preparing the future now ?
  • We consider that the optimal age to start establishing good health habits and getting to know your body better is around the age of 40.
  • The earlier you become aware of possible side effects, the better you’ll be able to manage them to avoid unpleasant situations and conserve your energy.
  • Prevention is better than cure. That’s where preventive health comes in.
